Audience award at Šibenska šansona for the new single ‘Kad Stradun zanoća’

With the new single Kad Stradun zanoća we won the Third Audience Award at Večeri dalmatinske šansone in Šibenik. It is by Vicko Dragojević, to lyrics by Jakša Fiamengo. Our latest musical work has also got a video.

After the song “Pramaljeća i marčane”, which we presented at the Split Festival, we are coming to Šibenik for Večeri dalmatinske šansone for the third time. The song has also got its own video story inspired by Dubrovnik, directed by Dominik Miljak. The video stars the young Dubrovnik actress Paula Japunčić, and all the footage was shot at Dubrovnik’s best-known locations.

As the title of the song suggests, the main inspiration behind the video was Dubrovnik asleep, or rather the Stradun, but filming night views of this city in summer is not easy. “One of the hardest tasks was to show what the Stradun is really like when night falls”, revealed Vicko Dragojević, adding, “during the summer life on the Stradun almost never stops, and it was hard to find locations free for filming, even in the dead of night.”
