Golden plaque in Makarska, “Petrunjela” the best song in the festival’s history

At the 15th Festival klapa uz mandoline i gitare in Makarska, on 30 August 2019, Klapa Kaše won the Golden Plaque – awarded by the expert jury, with the highest number of points. They performed the compositions “Ljubi me“ and “Marčelina”, written by the klapa’s artistic leader Vicko Dragojević, which feature on the new album “Tezoro”.

With this award Kaše have become the most awarded klapa of the Makarska Festival, and they also received another special recognition. Namely, based on a survey conducted to mark 15 years of the Festival, the song “Petrunjela” performed by Klapa Kaše was declared the best song of all the festivals so far.
